Play Dead
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
Play Dead is a 2D isometric puzzle game. Styled around film-noir, the game is about a detective dog named Gruff, who investigates the murder of Peepers the opossum within an eerie mansion.
The game involves Gruff, and eventually Peeper’s ghost, traveling through isometric rooms. The player, controlling one character at a time, will have to complete puzzles (such as pushing statues onto pressure plates to open doors) to navigate throughout the mansion and find out who murdered Peepers.
Play Dead is made in the Godot Engine 4.6. It was developed by a team of 4, over the course of 3 months for a school project. It's currently available for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
